With 40 years’ experience across New Zealand, the UK and Europe, Murray has led more than 350 projects across workplace, retail, banking, aviation, transportation and government. His background as a company director, business owner, Principal and national interiors leader gives him a strong understanding of design practice, commercial priorities and client needs.

In New Zealand, he has led workplace strategy, interior design and multidisciplinary teams for Auckland Council, Watercare, Westpac, Spark and Te Whatu Ora. Recent projects at 21 Queen Street and No. 1 Whitmore Street integrate workplace strategy, cultural narrative and design to create environments grounded in organisational identity and place.

Murray is known for a collaborative, people-focused approach and for championing digital tools and workflows that improve coordination, efficiency and the client experience.
